1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Chamelingo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Chamelingo is a Korean language learning platform offering interactive exercises, flashcards, multiplayer games, exam preparation, and supplementary learning tools. The Service is available as a web application.

3. Accounts

You may use certain features as a guest without creating an account. To access all features, you must register with a valid email address or sign in via a supported OAuth provider (Google, Kakao). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Chamelingo offers a free tier with limited access and paid options including subscriptions (Pro monthly/yearly) and one-time purchases (content packs, lifetime access). Pricing is displayed on the Pricing page in USD.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • One-time purchases grant permanent access to the specified content and are non-recurring.
  • Lifetime access grants permanent Pro-level access to all current and future content.

5. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Refund requests may be submitted within 7 days of purchase by contacting support. Refunds are granted at our discretion.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Chamelingo, including exercises, audio, images, and software, is owned by Chamelingo or its licensors. Exercise content is adapted from publicly available educational materials (Seoul National University Korean curriculum). You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that learning outcomes will be achieved.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chamelingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
