Terms of Service

By accessing or using Chamelingo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Chamelingo is a structured Korean (and English-for-Korean-speakers) learning platform. The primary product is the web app. Where offered, native mobile apps may provide the same curriculum and features. The Service may include a structured course path, production practice, flashcards and spaced review, exam preparation, optional speaking help, optional pressure practice, and vocabulary analytics.

You may use certain features as a guest without creating an account. To access the full Service, you must register with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Chamelingo offers paid Pro subscription plans. There is no free subscription trial. On the web (primary product), the available billing periods are Weekly, Monthly, and Annual through our payment processor (Stripe). Where a native iOS app is used, subscriptions may be billed through your Apple ID (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

For refund eligibility and instructions, see our Refund Policy. Apple and Google purchases may be governed by the store's rules and may need to be requested through that store.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

Automated access is permitted only through Chamelingo APIs and resources that we expressly designate as public or crawlable, and only in accordance with the applicable documentation, API-key scopes, quotas, and rate limits. You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar automated means to access other parts of the Service; harvest, bulk-copy, or republish Service content or data except as expressly permitted by us or applicable law; bypass authentication, rate limits, paid-feature restrictions, or account controls; or share, sell, or misuse API keys. We may rate-limit, suspend, or revoke access or API keys for violations.

You retain ownership of material you submit to the Service, including custom decks, study notes, documents, and uploaded media. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit it and that it does not violate the law or third-party rights. Your material remains private unless you choose a public sharing or marketplace option. Public display names, feature requests and comments, and public learning content may be automatically checked, blocked, or held for moderation; we may remove or restrict material that violates these Terms or creates a safety risk. On supported social and community surfaces, use the in-product Report content control or block an abusive user. You can also contact us using the support address below. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and audit the material as necessary to provide and maintain the Service. We do not claim ownership of your material.

AI-generated feedback, translations, and explanations are provided for general educational purposes and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. They are not legal, medical, immigration, financial, official examination, or other professional advice and should not replace official sources, qualified professionals, or test organizers. You are responsible for reviewing material that you choose to use.

All content, design, and code of the Service are the property of Chamelingo or used under license for educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without permission.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free.

Chamelingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
